For sale is an extremely rare and superb-conditioned Omega 2777-1, aka 'Thin Arrow'. As most of you will know, these are very hard to find and rarely come up for sale, especially in this condition.

I purchased this watch around seven years ago from a military collector well known at the Birmingham Watch Fair. The story I was given is that he had owned it for around twenty years, having bought it from a German collector sometime in the 90s.

The watch is in extremely good condition and completely original apart from the later NATO band. It has a fantastic patina and really glows in the sun. The dial and hands are original Radium, and even the centre second is the original with the blanked-out centre. The case is in very good condition, but at 80 years old, I cannot say for certain whether it is completely unpolished, but in my opinion the original brushing can still be seen.

The watch was serviced by Simon Freese in 2019. The warranty has since expired, and I have unfortunately misplaced the service ticket. It runs well but please bear in mind it is 80 years old.

I obtained an Omega Archive in 2019 confirming that movement 12.802.248 was supplied to the British Government for CK2777 with the 283RS manual winding special-adjustment, central sweep-second hand calibre.

I am only selling as I intend to move home next year, and I am raising funds to cover my stamp duty tax!

Any serious enquiries will be answered. Shipping will be via FedEx Express, fully insured, with the buyer covering costs. Shipping quotes will be provided before purchase.

Payment is NET GBP £7,750, payable to my UK bank account in pounds sterling. The watch will be sent within 24 hours of cleared funds.
(Watch is sold as seen pending any misinformation provided by myself. I have provided an accurate and honest description of the watch)

In my humble opinion, this is one of the nicest TAs still around, as the majority suffer major dial degradation or have incorrect parts.

Thank you.
