Original box - how it should impact the price?

I think I have 5 or 6 connie boxes laying around. They are just lying there never to be used again. In my opinion it does not affect value much more than the price of the box itself. This would be different if it's a full set (box and papers). For this I would pay a premium.

Thank you for reply.
Assuming papers are there, what would be the premium part value for you?

Personally I would never pay premium for a box only unless it very unique in some way. Papers yes and full set of course but not for a single box

If I can chose between a AAA piece without box and papers and a BBB piece with box and papers, I take the first.
Check if the Watch is fine first, then check if the papers and box aren't bogus. The premium depends on the model.

Not in the price range where papers add much value in my opinion. I would not go more than $50 above the watch-only value (and that is really for the papers, not the box).

What price range you would have in mind?

Would need to see a lot more pics to answer that. But I generally think of these as being in the $750 USD range. I'm not a big fan of day/ dates, c-cushion cases or coil-edge bezels, so I really can't say I have a finger on the pulse of the market. The only attraction for me is the linen dial, and from the limited pics it looks like there might be some damage (could just be the lighting though).

Not really my thing either but C-cases have risen in price in the last year or two.
The OP鈥檚 has a nice case except for some serious scratches on the lugs - most likely from some ham-fisted oaf changing the bracelet.

The dial appears to be missing most of its lume except on 3, 4 and 8.

I quite like having boxes for my Connies but agree, unless a full set, they add only a relatively small premium to the price of the watch.
This similar one was for sale on OF last year for $180 but had inner and outer boxes. (A tad expensive IMHO)

A box can add a little to resale or make a quicker sale to some buyers
BUT
Most buyers know they can easily source a period correct box for less than the premium people ask for a watch with a box

It's even worse. I think I have in total 15 or 20 omega boxes lying around. Maybe I should sell them all and buy a nice connie...

In all seriousness I always buy vintage Rolex (even modern) boxes and quite a few Omega as well....
