·The bronze gold version of this watch has brushed lugs on the top side. I think your thoughts make sense. The brushed bracelet would fit better with lugs brushed on top.

·Thanks Mandoris. I ended up leaving the case as it was and just brushing the bracelet. It's coming up on two years with this watch and I've loved every minute of it!
