Hi all. I have been trying to enter into the world of vintage watches. So in the last weeks or so I have been researching what could be my first (vintage) watch.

What are your thoughts on this https://www.chrono24.com/universalgenve/universal-geneve-polerouter-date--id18335937.htm

My budget was 1500-2000 but this one might be worth extra 1,000
I like that it doesn't have too much signs of wear (i think). Looks unpolished and most importantly i can see box and original papers, which i understand its rare.

More info here https://www.chrono24.com/universalgenve/universal-geneve-polerouter-date--id18335937.htm
Thank you very much!

The ad says “no box no papers”. No far off eBay asking prices, but check the sold listings, they are considerably lower.

IMO: clean and -as usual for a golden watch- a "safe-queen". - 10% with papers should be OK. ATB Jo

ps: a cross-hair dial looks a little bit cooler

Not the correct crown? The logo is inconsistent with the dial.

Crown looks off-kilter. Like it took a hit or something. My guess is that needs to be fixed.

The crown is a later UG part. Looks like crap.
