Hello! I want to buy this watch for about 650$. Seller claims it's NOS. Is the price good?
He also claims it's a Seamaster automatic, cal 1110, 2892-2 movement with 21 jewels. 32mm diameter without crown.
I like it very much. Do you think it's real or fake?

It looks real enough to me but I don't know much about modern Omegas. Are there papers to go with that box?

If you had a model number in addition to the movement numbers - btw, the first - 1110 - is the Omega cal and the second - 2892-2 is the ETA reference - you could google the model and get a few pictures to compare it to.

Nope, no papers. If it had them I wouldn't be wooried. I don't have an actual model number. I will go with the watch to a good watchmaker in my city but I also wanna hear opinions from you guys, cause this is the Omega "central hub"
Also, seller claims it's from around 1980s. If i get more details from him I will update this thread.

The information there is conflicting, some say it's fake and others say it might be ok.
Plus this forum is for Omega specifically so I believe I can get information from people more in the know.

 

I agree 100%. Just because it looks bad, or hasn't been seen before does not provide any evidence that it is a fake.
Bought this "fake" at a pawnshop for $50. Flipped it for profit.

 

I believe the op should offer $500 for the watch knowing it will need a service.

I searched the database and there, this watch has a white dial, and there are no other pictures. Does this mean the dial of mine was painted or modified? Or could it be of other colors than the pic in the database?

I think the dial looks good. One way to tell would be to take a 10x loupe and look to see if the case has ever been opened. There should be a detent to snap the case back off, and there would be scratches there if it has been opened.

 

Look closer and you will see a big scratch where someone tried to open it.
