Hi, Keen for opinions on this - A Suveran with a Speedmaster dial - is this genuine or is it something which has been cobbled together from different watches? Thanks!

What's the number on the inside case back?

That dial is either from a different watch or has been refinished, I believe. The serial number of the movement implies the watch is much older than the Seamaster's introduction, not to mention that the script is from the early 60s or even later.

I don't have the inside case picture unfortunately but thanks for your response - much appreciated. I'm looking for a 1947 watch for my Dad's 75th birthday so want the real thing! Cheers
