It’s priced highly at $3,075 the serial # is a little high for the model with case in the 30million range, however I have found examples on line that matched. My concerns are the bezel and dial, are they too good to be true, I have seen the counterfeit 120 kits and it does not appear to be one of those Ie. darker logo in the fake. What are your opinions, should I pass or begin to negotiate a better price.
I said it before. For me there are two possibilities for these kind of 120's: 1) This watch was made and somebody put it directly in a drawer/safe. Otherwise a dial and bezel would not look like that. 2) bezel and dial (and hands) are fake. Given the nature of the caseback (like @Tony C. said) it's unlikely it was put in a drawer/safe so my guess is nr. 2... I would assume that every bezel that comes in contact with the sun, etc, has some discolaration. Some kind of fading (see pictures). Anyway, I would never buy one of these just because of the doubts that I would always have...
It’s all wrong, I am moving on lol. If anyone comes across a good example of a 120, please let me know.
How about this one, it’s from analog shift. It appears to be 100% https://shop.analogshift.com/collections/omega/products/omega-seamaster-120-as02908
Isn't the case back engraving supposed to have 'waterproof' or 'waterproof tested' at the bottom? Also the case profile viewed from the side looks a bit flat to me. I thought the Seamaster 120 case should be more curved.
I have seen them with and without. I agreed with the straight lug comment, until I received more pics. The original pics are deceiving, the new pics resemble the curved lugs.
There is a decent one at Watch Garage. However, upon close inspection, the backs of the lugs look a little torn up. The pics aren't the best, so it's tough to spot. Worth a look, though, and I know he'll move on the price a little. ... Good luck. Your patience will pay off.
