    so i purchased an omega speedmaster 145.022-71 a couple of weeks ago

    just wondering, does this watch have anything special associated with it.

    does it need any polishing?
    should i send it to omega for restoration?

    opinions please

    the lower pushbutton seems to be a bit loose, the gap between the case and the cap is wider as on the upper button.
    Case looks nice i would leave it as it is.
    Tritium ´looks like new, very greenish. I bet it has a serial number starting with 3285...
    I also got 145.022-71 but according to the records it was produced 1975 and it also looks as brandnew as yours
