I've only been interested in gold Omega's but I really like the look of this Omega Constellation Chronometer Cal. 564 SS with 18k white gold bezel. Everything look original on it?

At first glance this looks really good...but I have two concerns, 1. it doesn't pass the MOY test which may not be that big a deal (because the pic was taken on angle) and 2. It says "T Swiss made T" and all the furniture has black lacquer. All of this points to a redial but I would wait for more experienced members to chime in.

Couple of more pics. None of them are straight on though which makes it hard to assess the MOY test. There is trillium at the of each hour marker but I'm unable to tell if it is new or not.

You are right. I thought MOY test is for older Connie only, however I checked my C case and it still holds.

The n's in Constellation didn't always roll under on these C-cases, particularly on the later models.

The watch in question seems okay but something is drawing my eye to the font under the applied OMEGA.

Scotty that top picture on your last post shows clearly the trillium on the hour markers...the original pics it was hard to see. You can also see in this new pic that the tips of the hands have it also...I really like the bracelet, looks comfy!

'MOY' refers to whether or not the letters line up correctly, as in:

"MOY is a standard test for authenticity that can be applied
to almost all Constellation dials manufactured up until the
change of Constellation script in the later 1960s. In both
cross-hair and plain dials that contain the full script
underneath the applied Omega symbol (or symbol and
Omega logo in later dials) a line can be drawn from 1200 to
0600 and it will pass through the centre of the first chevron
(upside-down V) of the M in AUTOMATIC and through the
centre of the O in CHRONOMETRE. Some variations occur
where the line is slightly to the right of the centre of the O.
The line carries on to the right of the Y in OFFICIALLY,
barely missing the upper serif. The above right photograph
shows how the MOY rule also applies to non-crosshair
dials. Rarely, however, does the line pass through the
exact centre of the applied Omega symbol."

The MOY test = if you take a vertical line from the 12 to the 6 it should pass through the first hump of the "M" in Automatic it should bisect the "O" in Chronometer and then just barely touch the upper right of the "Y" of Officially.

Here's a less often seen option for these.

This pic really helps. The font is identical to the pics I posted. Still looks like it fails the MOY test but for a small percentage of the Connies that is not definitive. I must say though, I really like the look of the brick bracelet. I think I like your dial better without the Tritium on it. Nice!

LouS - thank you for correction!! Tritium

Does the dial finish/effect have a bearing? Ie. sparkle, snowflake, sunburst? This one appears "plain".....

There were several different backround finishes. Many of the plain bezel 168.01x's had the crosshatch linen like yours Pete, but I see sunburst on the knurled bezel 168.02x (x = 7 is date, x = 9 is day/date) versions the most. Doesn't mean it can't be the other way though.
