Looks okay from those pictures, but I'd like to see the movement with the rotor positioned so we could read the numbers, and then of course the inside of the caseback.
I will work on getting photos of the inner caseback and more movement shots, but until then, what are you thoughts on the rest of the piece? Original dial?
I think that the dial is original and the movement is original. However, I'm not sure if they are both original to the same watch! Seriously, there were some Seamaster Geneve models made. Here is an old post with some examples: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/omega-seamaster-geneve-automatic-409085.html You might recognize a few of the contributors to that post. I also saw the ad that you sent me and even if 100% correct, my opinion is that the price is high by a couple of hundred at least. Hope this helps, gatorcpa
Thanks for the input. I was also thinking that it was a tad steep for the price. Those original silver geneve and deville simplistic dials are one of my favorites however; clouds my judgement.
Yea that can happen... there are a lot out there though so you've got plenty of choice BTW set an avatar!
I'm literally watching Season 1 of that right now, up to the part where Jesse's cooking with Badger in the desert (already watched it all through once, but starting again)
I know right! But I'd also be sad when its over... that said, so much good TV on these days, Game Of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, etc etc
Yeah, but I'd rather have it end on top than the writers stretch it out. Boardwalk I need to catch up on, Game of Thrones season 3 is going to be intense. Book 3 has some ridiculously suspenseful events.
