Appreciate some opinions on this OMEGA Pie Pan 14kt Gold & Steel, 168.005, Cal 564
Asking price USD1950
Dial looks original to me and not refinished. I can't find any red flags and I always try to (aside of the band and buckle not authentic)

I’d want pictures in natural daylight - hard to say with those over-exposed shots but there might actually be some yellow-y dial discoloration.

Lugs are soft, which, to me, would be a deal-breaker on a dogleg.

Not really important, but FYI: the box has nothing to do with that watch.

Crown is a replacement.

Question is: Why pay 1950$ for this? They’re pretty common. Gold-cap and the date are generally less sought after. With just a bit of patience (and I’m not speaking about months) a good example should be possible to source for at least 500$ less.

Yes the soft edges I didn't pick up on immediately until pointed out to me :( totally glossed over it. Hence the importance of ΩF to ask these things. Your view on pricing has taken me directly to where I was slowly heading. Thank you.

I will indeed be passing on this -
