Opinions on this 1967 Connie 168.005?

Appreciate some opinions on this OMEGA Pie Pan 14kt Gold & Steel, 168.005, Cal 564
Asking price USD1950
Dial looks original to me and not refinished. I can't find any red flags and I always try to (aside of the band and buckle not authentic)

I’d want pictures in natural daylight - hard to say with those over-exposed shots but there might actually be some yellow-y dial discoloration.

Lugs are soft, which, to me, would be a deal-breaker on a dogleg.

Not really important, but FYI: the box has nothing to do with that watch.

Crown is a replacement.

Question is: Why pay 1950$ for this? They’re pretty common. Gold-cap and the date are generally less sought after. With just a bit of patience (and I’m not speaking about months) a good example should be possible to source for at least 500$ less.

Yes the soft edges I didn't pick up on immediately until pointed out to me totally glossed over it. Hence the importance of ΩF to ask these things. Your view on pricing has taken me directly to where I was slowly heading. Thank you.
