Now, I'm not a seasoned veteran 'round here, but I don't think I've seen a cal 591 come up before; so, yours is out of the ordinary in my experience, anyway! I think you're going to be happy with it! Congrats on getting your first one!

1960 Reference CK.14.704, water resistant (gasket inside a screwed caseback) would be my best guess.
try for a shot of the inside of the caseback
I just realized I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the caseback

Thank you for the information! I'm relieved to hear that this particular watch is likely original. Thank you also for the suggestion about purchasing watches via the forum. I will keep an eye out to see if any interesting vintage watches are for sale.

Thanks again everyone!

I'd take that Longines without hesitation. It's got a De Luxe dial, which was found mostly on the top tier solid gold Conquest De Luxe models, but occasionally made its way onto other models. The case being steel has me thinking it might be an example of the latter. What's the caseback look like? If you don't go for it, feel free to PM me with the details of the shop; I'd like to get in contact with them because I have been searching for a watch like that for a long time.
