Too much wear, tear and dial damage for the price (or any price for my taste- but I can’t do dial patina). Better examples can be had for the same money

These are still cheap enough that you can be very selective.
At this price point you could at least expect a watch that has a clean dial. Maybe, it won't be enough for it to have the original bracelet, nor the clasp but at least a clean looking movement and dial with a not-overly polished case.
For that money I bought myself a gold capped Connie with a pristine linen dial:
These do come up every now and then in the Private Sales listings. I bought this one in December from a trusted and prominent member for €610. I think that, if you want a Connie, you owe it to yourself to get one that you can be proud to wear for the smartest occasions. Just my tuppence worth!
