I've been looking for a waterproof every day beater and been offered an original, unpolished Tudor.
Best of all, it's a 100% complete original set. Bad news: No service history but currently running to spec.
I've owned a Rolex 16800 and wish it was still on my wrist. However, never a Tudor. Your thoughts, please.

How much and any pictures? Sounds like a good option though as daily wearer!

Basic ETA, so service is a breeze!

They are great watches for the money.

A little less than $5k.US delivered. I'll post some scans when it arrives. Thanx, Miki

Sounds reasonable to me. Nice and tough, easy to service with a classic design make for a great daily wearer!

Made a tentative deal based on what I learned here. My research said exactly what I'm being told now.
I'm actually making a trade for my 145.022-71 that I bought from a dealer in Spain and was discussed here.

The value on these keeps creeping up. I bet it’ll go up 30% in a year. Not sure if there is any distinction (value wise) between 79160, 79170, 79180, or 79190. I guess it’s just what you prefer.

I just got my blue 79090 year 1992 for 5300USD...the best part is it came with a Rolex 78360, 501 bracelet.... and it was serviced by Rolex at 2017 feb... can't go wrong with an old blue tudor sub...

Well done. These are increasing and will continue due to the blue snowflakes.
