Serial Number: 11,462,605 Movement: bumper 342 Caseback: 10861375 2581 Material, 14k gold w/ hallmark on or near lug I didn't get a chance to take better photos of the full case and I just couldn't get my phone to focus well so I apologize for the blurriness. Second hand looked short, and the crown was unsigned and looks like a generic replacement. I wasn't sure how to break apart the numbers on the case back to do a good search and playing around on google images didn't return too much of value.
Thanks, wonder how much the gold is worth lol. Using the case back, how would I search for what that watch should be? I want to be able to search for that stuff a little better on my own as well. I searched a bunch of cal 342's and didn't get very far with that. EDIT: I should also say, I wasn't anticipating to go back and buy this one either way. I know I'd never wear it, and funds are a bit type right now even if it was 100% correct. I probably should have added "for research purposes" to my title
Note to Redialers: Make sure your black magic marker is not running out of ink before you start lettering the dial. You are welcome. Please express your gratitude via bitcoins.
Just be careful posting full serial numbers, 11,46X, XXX would be better. I don't fully understand the issue, I just follow what the cool kids are doing.
This watch is currently advertised on Ebay ( Australia) as a 100% genuine watch with a possible earlier restoration done to the dial. If anyone considering buying it I guess a fair warning of this " franken watch is appropriate. The asking price is about 1400 Euros! Guess anyone paying that kind of money would be very disappointed.
