Opinions and insights please on this linen dial, time-only, dress watch

Hi team,

Fascinated by this 35mm dress watch, 511 calibre hand-wound. I've never seen a linen dial with these "engraved" hour markers -- it almost reminds me of a vintage Seiko in it's simplicity. I'd be grateful for the opinions of the crowd!

The cuts are not all the same. The two at 12 differ in length.
Does that seem like an original feature?

It’s a cool design that I’ve not seen before, but I’d be weary of the 12 lines being different.
