For sale is this lovely IWC hand wound cal 402, ref 1419 from the early 1970s. The 34mm case and integrated mesh bracelet are stainless steel. The plexiglass is domed, but the watch has a very thin profile, slipping easily under a shirt cuff. As you can see from the pictures, the case, movement, and dial are in excellent condition. The hands show some ageing, consistent with a 45 year old watch, and the case back has a few minor scuffs from wear. The mesh bracelet is extremely comfortable and adjustable, with a nicely integrated clasp that is signed 'IWC'. The watch was apparently serviced by the dealer that I recently purchased it from, although I have no record of that. It does keep very good time though, and runs well. The asking price is $2,000 net to me, shipped world-wide with insurance. Sales are final so please ask any questions beforehand if more information is needed. Thanks for looking.
This model could also be a Ref. 2407: Not sure what the difference would be between the two models. GLWS gatorcpa
