Hi, omega forum fellows, it’s been a long time since my last post after bought a transitional speedy with help of you guys. Today I just discovered a seamaster 166.024 in quite bad condition, wrong crown and bezel, heavily polished case, but in very low price, about 1500 usd. Do you guys think it is worth as a watch project? The dial seems in quite good condition, not sure is it a fake one, correct caseback and 565 movement seems right too.Below is the photos of watch~ Thanks for reading, all opinions is valuable to me, it’s my first time trying to buy a vintage seamaster 300, and also sorry for my bad english~

I don't usually say this, but if you're interested in a project, this looks like an ok starting point, and the price makes sense.

I've no rational reason but my guts say there's something wrong with that watch...

The bezel, dial and hands are fake - I've no doubt about that. The case is the only part that might be legit because the pics are awful, but given the dial, bezel and hands I'd be very surprised if it is.

Case and caseback is also fake. Stay away.
