I’ve been lurking these forums for a long time learning from everyone (thanks!) and just decided to register and hopefully become part of the community. I looked at three Omegas today and I was hoping for some input and opinions. Two Seamasters and a Century. Unfortunately I didn’t take too many pictures as I was in a rush. The Seamasters look to be in decent shape. They both have likely been polished at some point. Crowns look original and both have original buckles. The Century is a bit of a mess. Would need some parts. Crown is not original, case back didn’t look original and the crystal is very scratched and there is serious damage to the case on the back/side. Any input which is the most desirable (if any) and approximate price you would pay?
Hard to comment due to picture quality. Casebacks are extremely hard to find. I would cross that watch off the list, if sure.
Yeah...the guy is only asking $400 Canadian each for the two Seamasters. So that’s about $300 USD each. Seems like a good price, and I haven’t negotiated anything yet. I might be able to talk him down a bit.
Nowadays, everyone knows how to Google and know what they are selling. You should go back, take good pictures and post here again. Movement photo, too.
