Any thoughts on this speedy? On offer online at the moment, but the dial looks questionable to me. Supposed to be a 105.003 pre-moon pre-professional. The printing of the word OMEGA seems off, the spacing to the printing "Speedmaster" too, fonts on the subdials, and so on. Or am I wrong?
Dial's a write-off, bezel is a modern replacement, hands are a modern replacement, bracelet looks very stretched, I'd say its a junker put together from a wreck.
It would be easier to list the things right with this than what's wrong. Wrong crown as well, but that's the least of the problems. A real mess
Extremely awful redial. A modern dial where the indices were painted to cover the seconds track to try to make it look "legit". The only thing I see is a case...Whoever did this is really trying to deceive the buyer.
That's what I figured, too, but wanted to get a second (and third, fourth, fifth) opinion. Thanks folks. FYI, that watch is on chrono24 from an Austrian 'trusted seller' , including a 'certificate of authenticity' for 2.990 Euro. So if anyone feels tempted...
I had very good luck with my Seamaster, 145.029 cal. 861, from Mark Martens Contacted him directly after seeing one of his ad's on Chrono24. Excellant communication, fast delivery. Bob
The sloppy text is easier for many to see. Can someone share what makes the bezel an 'obvious' modern replacement (other than no DON)? Thanks...
