I like to ask for advise and opinion on this Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11. Based on the photos are there any flaws or red flag on this piece. Sorry there’s no movement photo though. Based on the circle mark red is it a dent or reflection? Appreciate all feedback and advises thanks.

I would say it looks really, really nice.
I think the detail observed and shown with the red circle is a relfection (based on the last picture were the edge of the case seems sharp).
Nice bracelet as well (ref. 1450 ?) !

Nice 👍

This watch looks really nice, apparently not having been worn very often in it's life. The bracelet is the rarer 1450 with correct #808 end pieces.

What's the price point?

The seller wants usd4.3
IMO that sounds very fair for this watch including the bracelet, even considering it will need a service.

The seller wants usd4.3, not too sure Whether hands are tritium.

At that price, if you don't take it, I will 😁

If it comes with all the original kit it came with when new, then that's a very good price. If not, it's not quite the bargain it seems.

I didn´´t realise they had gone up so much, that is almost 3500 sterling.

So do I have consensus the above mark red circle is just a reflection and the price is fair? I realised on the back case there’s a something like red seal? Many thanks.

Not necessarily so...I've seen these red seals stay intact even after the case was opened, and of course anyone with some model paint can put a drop of it on the case and say it's never been opened. I would not use this as an indication of anything in particular.

Cheers, Al

Thanks Archer for your kind explanation. But based on your experience do you the first photo is just a reflection? Much appreciated.

When enhancing the 1st pic, it seems the case edge follows a nice continuous curve. So I would say reflection instead of a dent.

Now, in case of doubt maybe you can contact the owner, share your fear about reflection vs dent and kindly ask for other pics? It costs nothing to ask, and you will be 100% sure about it 👍

It would be highly unlikely to be a dent given that the case side and bezel in close proximity appear to be undamaged.
