Hi all, first post but I have been a reader for a long time.

I am looking at purchasing an Omega Constellation Deluxe 2852/2853 from 1956 - solid 18k gold case and dial.

Generally from what I’ve read and seen on this model the watch I’m looking at looks all original as advertised. However I just wanted a second opinion.

Only thing odd to me is it doesn’t appear to have a “Swiss made” inscription at the bottom of the dial, and the odd patina on the dial. Seeing as the dial is supposed to be 18k, I want to make sure it looks correct.

Would greatly appreciate a second opinion.

Thanks!

I think the SWISS MADE has been cleaned off, same with 22 minute tick.
Second hand is generic with wrong tone. And too long.

Looks like a chemical dial cleaning gone wrong. These deluxe dials are a poster child to leave well enough alone.
