OPINION - Omega Seamaster Professional for Ladies

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

I'm thinking of gifting my wife Omega Seamaster Professional 28mm. This would be her first luxury watch and I'm thinking does it fit a lady's wrist well? Maybe someone has gifted such a watch to their significant others? How does it look, is it not too manly? The price range I am looking for would be 1-2k, so it is going to be used one.

Let me know your opinion!

I have the same idea only I would go for the mid size 36mm 2264.50

His and hers Peter Blake, thats kind of cute. 90679f83f5509d382b4c4034a77b1653_large.jpg

I tried to look for photos on womens wrist, but couldn't find them. Do you think 28mm would be too small? Why 36? 😀

I assume you mean the Aqua Terra. It does (or did) come in 28mm but they are quartz. At the current MSRP, they are way overpriced. Find one used for a lot less. My wife has one and enjoys it.

But she also wishes it were a little bigger. I think 32-34 mm is the sweet spot for most women.

Why not? I have seen it many times on ladies wrists and it made me always smiling. But this is me.

36 mm is closer to my size, if I buy her a watch I too want to use it too. Also she is more rocknroll than opera and she`s got a couple of smallish Seiko dress watches already.

Also, the Aqua Terra is not the professional. Maybe you mean this one?

that hasn’t been offered in years, so you will definitely have to buy used. And that one is going to appear smaller than the Aqua Terra because of the bezel — that makes the dial smaller in diameter.

Hi Donn, thanks for your reply. Yes, this is exact model I was looking into! 😀 I saw some pre-owned for 1.1 - 1.5k

I gifted my wife a 28mm Bond more than 20 years ago. She still loves it tremendously and I think it fits her very well.
