Looks like a very nice dial but it has really soft lugs, especially the ends.
Plating missing from the crown too.
What is the asking price?

Hmmm, tough one.
$950 is not a lot for a dogleg pie pan especially with a dial as nice as that but you would have to see the watch in person to assess just how polished the lugs are and if you would be happy with them.
(The crown wouldn’t bother me. )

 

In my opinion it's a little higher for this condition..but not very much. Recently i seen that this is a very desirable model for collectors..

I have not seen the movement. But I know it keeps time well, +-10 s/d.

 

Maybe I skip this deal. I love the dial, and I have a original replacement crown. But the case is to polished and lugs to misshaped.

 

Would still want to see it for condition and authenticity.

 

Doesn't anyone think this dial is refinished? Looks like the line doesn't go directly through the star....

 

You won’t find many Constellations with a clean pie pan dial with crosshairs and dog leg lugs for under $1000. I think it’s a very fair price if the movement is correct.
