    Hey everyone,

I would like to get an advice about this vintage Omega Seamaster. I really dont understand much about watches and I am think this one for my dad for a birthday present. Its on a sale from a vintage/antique watch store. Please let me know what you think and If its real or not. By the way he says that its in a perfect condition for a watch this old and the strap is a real croc strap and its from his first owner. Also I was wondering If this watch is seamaster or geneve it says seamaster on the back.

    Thanks

I do not believe 'perfect condition' is age-dependent.

Any photos of the case interior and movement? The outside looks okay, although I would want to see better pis of the lume at the marker ends, as the dots are hard to see n these pics. Also a pic of the crown, and one or two of the lugs from an angle..

Can you add a photo of the inside of the caseback? It has the reference #, which will allow it to be looked up.

I thought if it has a seamaster caseback it has to say seamaster somewhere on the dial. Right?

No, other models such as Geneves sometimes came with a Seamaster caseback.
