opinion about a tropicalized Suverän

I strolled around the Suverän, always ready to let myself be seduced.
I found the dial of this attractive with this speckled effect.
inevitably, learning to fish well, I exercised my eye:

- is the dial repainted? I think not
- indexes relumed? if so, it's damn well done. so i think not too
- Are the hands original? I have the feeling that they have been reworked. They should be radium with a color approaching the pumpkin. I find them too cream yellow and especially with a finish that is not precise enough.
- the crown has been changed. it does not have the design of the time.
- is it worth the €1700 requested? I certainly wouldn't pay them. but what would be the fair price?

I agree with your observations. Re. price, I don't think this one is an auction candidate. It will be sold after sitting for a long while, patiently waiting for one of the five-six persons in the market who don't care about the relume and wrong crown and love the patina. More patient or "serious" collectors will stay clear.
