I used to own two 1943 RAF/FAA-omegas, but could never really love the redials, sold them.

Always wanted the clean original one. So when I saw a watch with a very good dial yesterday I bought it almost instantly. Without checking all seller pics too carefully I guess...

I thought the back engraving looked good, but now I am not so sure, and I notice there is no ref:no on the inside? should I be worried? ok watch but fake caseback? or are these seen with different caseback insides?
Another worry is the low A-number and +10M serial? can that match?

Some of the earlier models didn't have reference numbers inside the caseback. The case serial number dates this watch from around 1944, which is consistent with the movement. I don't know about the engraving on the back as I'm not a British military watch expert.

Here is a copy of the chart for movement and case serial numbers from Omega:

    Dial and hands look correct.

    Hope this helps,
