Push the minute chapter out to the edge!
Blued steel hands instead of gold!
Remove the rotor!

I'd have one!

(I just want to fondle that crown 🥰)

That backing is gorgeous with the etched seamaster print on it.

Why can't I see the photo? Although it would likely pale in comparison to @M'Bob's

It's an absolute show stopper. I'm surprised it's not a regular model.

Just a matter of time. Surely it will become in near future.

Well, i am not able to grab the concept here. Unlimited and sold only in two locations in Venice. What's the point?

The original Seamaster was inspired by Venice to some extent, so Omega thought it fitting that they release a model which would only be available to those who visit the city. I'm not so sure what's so hard to grasp about that.

What am I supposed to say? That i got what Kmart wrote? My gosh! That's clear. What is not clear is why limit geographically a product if you are not trying even to create desirability. Let us be honest. How many of you would pay a visit to Venice in order to buy the watch? Not many, if any. Who's gonna buy it? Those that anyhow will be visiting Venice for other reasons. So why then limit distribution geographically? Poor marketing IMHO.

How is it not desirable? Have you not read the feedback from all the different websites? It was produced SPECIFICALLY for the Italian market. It wasn't produced to appease WIS', forum users, or bloggers, but for an entire city and with rich history. Just because it's located in one location does not make it less desirable. All of the sudden omegaforums is full of marketing experts.. 🤦

You do realize people actually live in Venice, right? It's not just a place for tourists, like a theme park...

"Sir, you must be 'this' tall to ride the gondola. If you don't qualify, we have a nice merry-go-round down the pebbled streets where you can ride the OMEGA Seahorse."

Possibly the same point as the Mitsukoshi Speedmaster. Limited to 300 and only sold in a Japanese store. And due to those circumstances and lack of general availability it's been completely forgotten about.

Not 😉

I drove 700 kms round-trip to pick my CK2998 in Paris last year. I'm sure some Italians, French, Austrian, ... could drive the same or more to get this watch.

Archer, with all my due respect here i would advice you to pay a visit to Venice. That is a tourist city, locals are few. And these that live there, well majority not at their will. I have been there many times plus i know quite a few Italians that live in the vicinity. Surely there will be locals like from Mestre, Padova etc that both have the means and awareness to buy it, but is this what Omega relies on?

Thanks Livesimply11. I just expressed my opinion. No need for harsh words. If i have to get in par with you, neotjer you would not like my comments, nor i am paid for that. I believe what i think or what you failed me understand me think does not matter. What matters here is what reality will prove to be. Case closed.

My advice to you, do not take as mission in life your presence here. We are here to express opinions and be friends, thus become more competant and enrich ourselves. Otherwise people will think to mock at each other it is easier for your when done in forums rather than alive. And that does not speek well. I hope you would close this vendeta of yours, caused by obviously the fact I think in a different manner than you.
