My daughter sent me this photo before we said goodbye to her sweet little companion. He was struck by a car, and despite everyone’s hopes, he didn’t make it. He brought so much joy into her life and will be deeply missed. Rest easy, little buddy. You were loved every single day. 💔

I’m very sorry for the loss of your family member. Perhaps the reason why we love our cats and dogs so much is that they give us unconditional love and loyalty. Perhaps they also show us by their actions to help us to become better people.
