Hi guys!

I need to remove the side crown on my Omega 145.008 yacht timer, the crown controlling the inner tachy ring.

Anyone knows how to do this?
I think ill let my watchmaker do this anyways, but would be nice to know how, and if it is much trouble.

a small spleen is sitting between case and crown, to remove this, crown needs to be removed first.

Your help is much appreciated 馃榾

You need to grip the teeth of the pinion and unscrew the crown...

Thank you for a quick reply Archer 馃榾

Complicated or easy operation? The crown is functioning fine as it is - im just kind og annoyed with the small chip of bent steel.

Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge.

About as complicated as it sounds...

I have no idea of you or your watchmaker's skill level, so it's always tricky to answer such questions about how difficult something is...something easy and straightforward to one person might be difficult for another.
