Omega watch verification

Hello
I'm new to the world of watchmaking and I'd like to be reassured about purchasing this Omega.
It has neither box nor papers, and the crown doesn't have the Omega logo, and the date sometimes has a little trouble turning.
However, it's automatic, and I find it to be in good condition.
Diameter: 36.5mm
That's it.
True or false.
And I'd be curious to have an estimate.
After I get back, I'll let you know how much he offered me for it.
Thanks in advance.

Legit, but not particularly desirable. And entry-level watch, in mediocre condition, and from a time period where Omega was not always producing the best watches. If you like it, make sure you get it for very little, since it may require a professional service, which would basically cost the value of the watch.

You’d be better off in the long run using that 250 euros to buy a nice mechanical Seiko and get a better Omega when you can afford it.

It may be in good condition, as you say, on the outside. But the movement—the mechanism—will probably need to be serviced. Even if it operates well, this is an old watch that needs oil and cleaning and possibly some new parts, and you and the seller may not know when that was last done. The cost of a proper service, as Dan said was saying, may be more than the watch itself is worth.

If you really like the way it looks, then that is no problem—buy, enjoy. But if you are only buying it because it is an Omega, then I agree with others: you would be wiser to wait and save some more money and find a watch that has more real value. This one is not a smart financial decision, and it is not a watch most collectors would consider buying.
