Dear OMEGA FORUMS members,

Greetings from the land of Malaysia. I'm a newbie to this forum but my love and adoration with all things OMEGA goes a long way back (I'm a baby-boomer) to facination with the Speedies from the Eighties when i came into age financially that is 馃榾 I only managed to afford to purchase my first Speedy Day-Date with a black dial in 2006 but sadly (and stupidly) due to my other passion i.e. big bikes, i sold it to try to raise much needed $$ for a downpayment. As fate would have put it, as i grew older, getting married and having kids left little mullah to indulge in bikes.
Fast-forward a decade. The itch for Speedies returned (err they never left my being...leering at Speedies whenever i had the chance. Whether you consider the internet a boon or bane, it was through this medium via ebay, Chrono 24, etc i managed to see a whole plethora of Speedies avail. Though the evil of credit cards, i picked up a Speedy Mk 40 (i simply love all that colour and business) and thanks to the recent purchase of The Moonwatch Only reference Book which is simply an awesome source of infor for Moonwatches, shortly after the purchases of two 'real' Speedies which i guess some purist consider as 'proper' Speedies i.e. the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatches followed. I waited patiently and managed to snag my favourite mission watches ie the 25th and 30 Anniversary of the Apollo XI. Love 'em to bits to the point i haven't had the heart to wear em yet!! 馃檮
The Speedy Mk 40 gets wrist time on special occasions only. That's just me.

Anyways, the real reason i posted here in this Section of the forum i.e the Omega Watch Resource; Information, Service/repairs & Parts Suppliers is that i wanted to share the link to some Technical Data on Omega Watches that i happened to have accumulated all those years. Will try to look for somemore Service Guides etc and post it here.

Here it is folks : https://1drv.ms/f/s!AsvBNAxbClBqhbYAK9TOVOUlS4bKrA

Cheers All...Looking forward to journeying with all of you and learning from you.
To all my fellow Professional Speedy aficionados, let us all await with bated breath for the Apollo XI 50th Anniversary Edition in 2019 馃榾

Don't know about Chicago but these are the very few independent NYC watchmakers that have authorized Omega service accounts to order parts. This is very important when servicing watches and you need factory direct parts that fit properly. Omega also requires them to have the requisite tooling to keep their service accounts active. I think there are one or two more watchmakers w/ Omega service accounts, but don't recall their individual names.

Central Time - https://centralwatch.com/
Swiss Precision Watchmaking and Repair - https://www.yelp.com/biz/swiss-precision-watchmaking-and-repair-new-york-4 (Michael Oransky used to work at Central Time and has an Omega account since Nov 2017. Nice guy.)
Swiss Watch Repair Center Inc. - http://www.swisswatchrepaircenter.com/index.html
Manhattan Time Service - https://www.watchrepairny.com/our-services/watch-repair/ (don't think I would use them)

For those in the North East, I would also highly recommend Eric Norrbom and JC Figlar who are some of the watchmakers on staff at Hamilton Jewelers in Princeton, NJ. JC serviced both my Flightmaster and my Speedy pre-moon and is exactly the kind of expert you want for a vintage watch, and is also a great guy.

St. Louis Omega Boutique. This year at the annual Christmas Party, the Boutique asked patrons to donate to the Toys for Tots campaign. Just goes to how how much the Sales people and the managers there think about the community as well as their customers.

Hello everyone.
If any of you are looking for Omega official repair centre, give a call to this guys, https://www.rswatchrepairs.com/
They have repaired two of my omegas and the service is amazing, I was kept update by email of every step of the process and they even have a portal where I could login and see updates, pictures of my watch before and during repair.

I was impress by this guys.

I am confused, your avatar and name are just like the business you recommend?
Are you affiliated with this business?
Thanks
