    Hi all

I would be grateful for any help or information relating to this watch.

It belonged to my great grandfather, given to me on my 21st birthday by my grandmother (9 years ago) Back then I didn't have much interest in watches but appreciated the sentimental value so kept it locked away safe. After re-discovering it yesterday I gave it a little wind and it started ticking over beautifully, after at least 30 years dormant!

The next step will be to have the watch serviced, and reconditioning the glass rather than replacing it- Ideally I will research and find somewhere local as I don't like the idea of 'sending it away'

I would like to know if the strap is original, and if so where I can find a replacement for me to fit when I intend to wear it. Also I would love to know the box it would have come in originally so I can try and source on the likes of ebay

Super nice heirloom! Such a nice vintage solid gold Omega.
I definitly think the strap is not original to the watch. Concerning a replacement, it really depends upon what kind of strap you want to have on it.
No idea of the box, sorry.

    Cheers
