To be correct, a counterfeit.
A watch produced on the reputation of others by the unscrupulous in order to deceive and cheat the innocent.

If it was worth spit before, it sure isn't now that it's been dragged around some stony ground for its photo-session. If you ever thought it was real, you wouldn't do that.
