    Dear folks,

I collect watches for a while, but they are all generally modern pieces.
I could say I'm so lack of knowledge for the vintage one.
And I've been recently attracted by a vintage Seamaster 300, just not sure it's genuine or counterfeit.
Would be more than happy to hear from experts.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Best regards,

Nice candlestick model you've got there, it should look good after a new crystal and cleaning.

Thanks for the help. I see there are two types of bezel for Seamaster 300, but except for that, is there any difference?

Actually there are 5 different types of bezels for 2. Generation sm300 ( ref. 165.024 and 166.024). Yours is one of the 2 early ones and correct for a '64 reference.
Besides that, dial with or without big triangle at 12, with or without date, cal. 550, 552, 563 and 565. 2-3 different hand-sets, crystal ring black or steel, caseback with or without "bend", naiad or screwdown crown, miltary versions with fixed bars, T marking and id on caseback etc etc etc:)
