It appears Omega has moved their vintage database again. Has anyone here found the new link?

Something is going on. I can't access it at all at present. I used it about 7 or 8 hours ago.

Update: can access it now but I get a message "change your filter settings" and that's it.

I think they were doing maintenance on systems earlier - at least that's what it said when I tried to log into the Extranet earlier today...

    Working fine now.

Al, could you provide link that is working for you?

These links either don't work or look nothing like the old link.

    old link http://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-watches-database?ref=14510

    new link http://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage/?search-product=seamaster#
(I cannot look up by ref # on new link.)

No - I am not looking at the vintage database, but the Omega Extranet, which is not available to the public.

I rarely use the vintage database myself.

As of right now [ 13:45 PDT on 04 Sep 2015] the vintage watch database is back up and running. It looks very different compared to the previous incarnation, and works differently, but it does work (I'm not going to take the time to write out a tutorial on how to get what you want; you should make it an adventure for yourself). I was able to find the info for my Cal. 520 Seamaster made in 1959 without too much difficulty.

Actually, the general layout of the entire www.omegawatches.com site has been modified quite a bit compared to its state just a few days ago.

Doesn't work on ref or calibre number for me. Does it work for you?

Click on the "FILTER BY" badge. You're presented with a limited list of possible filters, caliber number being one of them. When you select the Caliber Number filter, you get a long list of calibers with a check box next to each caliber. Checking one or more of those boxes will give you a list of Ref. Nos. with that/those caliber(s). Now I've written the tutorial. :)

Just shows either blank or one result for the whole 505 calibre. There are near 2k of case and movement combinations, filtering is rather a dumb way while the search box is front and center on the page. Hope more is in the work.

Filtering for just 321 comes up with the speedies. Collection is labeled Seamster. Work in progress to be sure.

And filtering via Ref # ? And I can't add or change a search. Have to close down the site and restart to do that.

Opening the site is not an issue, it's just navigating around that is the problem. Try finding a vintage watch via its case number? This is where it falls down for me. Maybe I am not looking hard enough in the filters, I'll go have another play. The old site was straight forward, put n the ref number and up came the info, not so with this modified site, for me anyway.

I'm not finding any way to search by reference number. If that is the case, it is pretty much useless, for me.

It's very odd and very frustrating. I can only hope this is some transitional site.

It is no good without being able to search on reference numbers, it must be an easy fix. Is there anybody that are able to contact Omega ? :)
