Does anyone know where the 'Omega Vintage Database' has gone to ? All the usual 'log in' url's just re direct to the main Omega website ? I have never seen it go offline before ? - Maintenance issues ? Tried Omega Customer Service ..........Hopeless ( as usual ) Any thoughts ?
Woof woof ! - What a rapid response Thank you - Had Omega just re designated the URL protocol then ? Have a rare Omega 344 sub second in an XL case, to research & document, before sale, & I was going 'bonkers' trying to chase down the site Thank you again for the kind advice
Mmmmmmm - Just tried entering the calibre & the 'Search' option is not working The search facility just resets each time ?
You're right - it's not allowing searches and it just resets without any output. I hope they fix it soon.
The watch was lost for 47 Years Packed up in tissue paper in 1966, & then stored away in a Tea chest, in dry conditions Rediscovered this year - The watch was not functioning, when I bought it from the original owner. Sourced a new 'escape wheel' in Canada - ( Don't ask the price ! - I think it would have been cheaper to buy it a 'Club Class' seat on BA ) Escape wheel was fitted, & full service done The watch is in near immaculate condition.
I think it sits nicely on your wrist. Maybe you should keep it as your daily beater, now since you seem to have spent a considerable amount of money on it. And the Omega vintage database seems to have broke down....
Unfortunately - I have far, far too many 'daily wearers' - I expect it will go to Ebay in time The last one I saw like this, flew out, in California, for a ridiculous amount of money
They changed all of the web addresses on the Omega site. Unfortunately, they haven't changed the actual page links yet, so the "Search" function is worthless for now. gatorcpa
