Hi to all of you in the OF.
It's since years that I try to know something more about this Omega chronometer.
It's working and I checked witha quarz casio that keep the time perfectly.
I took some pictures but I didn't took a picture of the movement, I'll do that asap.
Could you help me understanding the year, the model, and what happen to the dial??
If looked angled under the light there are evidences of some transparent painting on top ore something happen.. also the indicators looks to be "morfed" by some external intervent...
Please help me!!

PS: don't lood at he Vetta pocket watch close tothe Omega that is incredibly beautiful
Thank you very much for your help in advance

Seems more like a stopwatch than a chronometer IMO

Incredible bad repainted dial

Pictures of the inside (inner caseback and movement) are needed for identification

I'll provided as soon as I can come back home.
For what concern the dial, are there some spare available to be substituted?
Thank you

I don't think it's a redial. Paint or dial finish damaged by heat of some sort.

Maybe when received and crystal removed for a better look

The glossy radium numerals point to a laquer applied and that has reacted with the original dial paint.... Quite a few bubbles from that application on the dial...

Yes,agree, looks to be a reaction of the dial original paint onthe laquer... what a mess
Do you think that it's possible to find an original dial?
