Hi all,

I had a look at this omega and it seems all original but I’m no expert. Before pulling the trigger I want to have the forum look it over.

it’s a bit rough but I like the patina and it’s going at a very good price.

Untidy re-dial.
Omega symbol is too late for a 1949/1950 watch.
Movement looks very tired and will need a full service.
It's had a hard 70 odd years of life.
I'd pass.

All good, I saw redial so I’m out. The movement requiring a service is fine as I can do that. But the dial is the deal breaker.

did t think it was a good idea but it was so cheap so I thought I’d ask.

Near mint condition - no?😁
My eyes work and I can see the condition. As mentioned above It’s a very cheap price. Again the redial part is a no for me and that why we check first.

Well aware it’s a 30 mm or a 32 but either way I was fine with that. It wasn’t going to be a daily. I will keep looking and thank you for the heads up on size as most would be oblivious to it

I just do not understand what makes this watch more worthy than maybe 50 usd.👎

A rusty old shovel has a cheap price, but not a good reason to buy.
