You are looking for a 60+ year-old leather strap? Or do you just mean an authentic Omega strap?

Just get a nice leather band for <$100 and find an Omega buckle to match it.
I've always regretted buying old Omega bands as they either fall apart due to age or smell really bad.

Also that model is early-mid 70's, not late 50's.

As above. That is a 135.041 from circa 1970. Certainly no earlier than 1968 when it was launched.

it’s on the OVD as 135.0041, but will likely say 135.041 in the caseback.

True, I didn't even look at the watch, just took the OP's post at face value.

In Jr high, a girl’s father had a Delorian. So very cool. I remember there being a fire extinguisher strapped inside, which made it seem dangerous, therefore super awesome

Hey, welcome to the Omega Türler club. Sorry about the mess.

It will certainly look better with the correct-size band—18mm? I don't feel that there was anything particularly magical about the original bands from the 1970s, and as noted previously, a 50-year-old leather item is unlikely to be in appetizing condition now. I have a couple of Omega buckles and they're not anything to write home about. On the other hand, shopping for watch bands is actually kind of fun. Some 70s watches come alive (in the Frampton sense) on cheesy 70s designs, but sometimes a nice strap sets off how understated and elegant the design is. Enjoy.
