Is it worth buying the trilogy set as a set or each watch individually? I know by buying the set they will have matching serial numbers and special case etc but by buying individually you could probably pick up all 3 for probably 20-30% less then buying as a set.
I have seen wildly ranging prices between £17500 up to an eye watering £28000.

I think individually if you can find them then go for it.

The set is way overpriced.

I don't like the edition numbers on the dial with the Trilogy set.....something that just doesn't look right and clutters up very classic dials. But if you like the idea of a matched set in big box, and you can get it for a good price go for it. I just don't think it's worth much of a premium.

Have you seen one of the Trilogies in person? The extra text really isn't as obtrusive as it seems when viewing on the screen (in my opinion).

Yes, seen a set in person. I just think it's extra numbers that aren't necessary. If I really wanted a matched set it probably wouldn't kill the deal for me, but aesthetically I'd prefer the dial without the numbers.
