Hi

This arrived yesterday, an Omega from 1937, cal. T17. A little larger than my other T17's, 22 mm. wide without the crown, and 39 mm. long including the lugs, fits a 18 mm. strap.

I have a little OCD in wanting to know the references on my Omega's 😀

So I have been through AJTT with no luck, an googled 3-4 T17 with identical case but none with a reference number stated.

So if you have an idea of the correct reference number on this one I would appreciate it 😀

Sorry for the crappy pictures (some of them taken in the rain 😀 )

My memory might be playing tricks on me, but I believe Martin @marturx has a similar watch. He might know the ref.

You're right. Identical case, but different dial. I bet Thomas picked this one up in Sweden, as most of his Omega collection 😀

Sadly I don't have the reference. It never mattered to me, I settled with the knowledge it was a T17.

And now I've sold mine too. A couple of weeks ago only

Possibly a 921?

I think we need Yann to help with this one.

Not a CK 921, i have one of those. They are smaller and different case form.

Yes I have PM'ed @Tire-comedon he is the expert on those 😀

I haven't a clue about the ref. of this watch, but it is a lovely addition for your collection. That CK 921 isn't too shabby either.

I knew I had it in one of my catalogs. It took me some time but I found. I suppose it is a ref CK891, here in the 1940 general catalog :

Not sure if this will help, but I have some old catalog scans downloaded from some time back , from a website which I've forgotten! They show various T17's.

You're welcome! Full credit and thanks too , to the original person who so kindly scanned in those catalogs.

All scans are ones I did from my collection of catalogs and posted here or there. Probably someone gathered them somewhere which is fine since I never took the time to do it. Thanks so to the one who collected them!

Beautiful watch. (Amazing how many variants and references they created around the rectangular theme…)
