Omega Suveran question.

Hello,

I’m a newbie here and just wanted to ask people’s opinion on this Suveran:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1944-vinta...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

Based on searches on this forum this seems like a legit watch but wanted to see with you folks to see if there’s any warning signs I’ve missed. From a seller with 100% feedback and has great communication.

Is this in the ballpark price wise?

thank you for any help or advice!

Looks okay, but price is too high.

Look for them in Sweden instead, if you can accept patina they cost under half that asking price

Looks all correct, case is very well preserved but dial has not so good looking patina (IMO).

Expensive for the condition, you should be able to find a similar one for less than 1000$.

I sold this one for around 1000$ a while ago which was better IMO.

Wow, those look amazing! Yes, I agree with the unattractive patina.

What is the best way to search for them in Sweden from abroad?

thank you for your post.

I agree with tdn-dk about the pricing. Suveräns with patina, in Sweden are not that expensive. As always, if you want a collectors piece it will have a premium price. Here are some Suveräns sold on the Swedish site Tradera lately.
1 US $ is approx 8.80 SEK.

That one is not for a Suveran collector. A correct crown for it is nearly impossible to find.

I have 8 Suverans in my collection and the last 4, none of them is under $1000 usd.
Are you saying that the Suverän OP is looking at is a Suverän collectors piece, and is worth 1500$?

Thank you all for the advice. I ended up finding a 50’s 266 at a good price for now. I’ll keep on the search for a collectors piece.

it’s helpful to know about auctionnet too. Will just keep doing my research and not rush.

Unrelated I also found a NOS Squale medium diver care of Amsterdam Watch Co, that I’m very into. As you can see I have very small wrists so on the search for an Omega that will fit me.
