Is there any specific rule(s) or style connected to each watch? For example, if I have a watch that comes with a non-original metal band (e.g., Speidel seems to be a popular replacement), may I replace it with a nice leather strap? I am aware that I can "do anything" I want, but is it acceptable in Omega "culture"? Also, actually I am not sure if the seller of the vintage watch replaced a leather strap with a Speidel either. Is there a place for reference? Thanks.

Go for it Mary. Bracelets and straps were dealer options back in the day so anything goes.

OK. I love the genuine croc straps. There are original Omega leather straps, too, that are not ridiculously over-priced.

Me too. They're the classiest on dress watches.

Yes, if you search. Snagged this single keeper a couple years ago.

[as soon as friggin Photobucket starts working properly I'll post it]
