·I want to buy a new strap and clasp for a moonwatch. I can't decide between the dark brown and golden brown strap. Both look good but can only afford one. Any opinions?

··Ash @ ΩFIt’s pretty personal prerogative but I’d go the dark brown and have liked it on mine in the past, it just seems to work well with the dark dials while the golden brown works better with gold watches.

··Burt Macklin, FBIHere are a couple pictures of my vintage and modern Speedy on straps from dark brown, reddish brown (for something different), and a golden/caramel brown. I personally like the dark most and reddish strap second as something fun.
My personal favorite strap for this, however, is an olive drab Ripstop strap.

·I had a dark brown strap and dp buckle that I got as a freebie when I bought the watch from the Geneva Boutique in 2017 but I never liked it, it was just too dark. Would prefer a lighter shade of brown.

·As the Speedmaster looks good on many watches I would buy the strap that matches my belt and shoes.
