Great article as ever and I have my eye on one of these.
It is really hard to find a plain dress style with twisted lugs on a modern-ish watch in a reasonable size. This fits the bill, as does the old aqua terra 150 2500. I am probably going for the aqua terra with gold hands and indices on balance for the reason you pointed out- the large flat bezel being prone to dings
