I looooove my Deauville (ref. 007).

The blue brushed dial goes from blue on day light to almost black in the evening.

The integrated bracelet tapers quite a lot which also softens the overall esthetic of the watch, and it doesn't feel you are wearing something chunky. As stated in the article, the bracelet reference is 1217/127

And it also has a "design" caseback with a very cool font

All in all, I find the Deauville has a "sophisticated elegance", compared to other more classic dress watches such as the Constellation models (from the 50s) or the cursive Genève model for example.
A sharp dogleg Constellation (ref 14900) would maybe sit in between.
But the integrated bracelet, with the sharp case angles and the minimalistic dial give the Deauville a real "je ne sais quoi"

So if you haven't noticed it yet, I'm a huge fan of this model, and I can only encourage you to join me in owning one!
Good hunt

PS: if you see a nice white dial one (007), let me know, I regret having not pulled the trigger on one a hear or so ago
