Omega Spring Bars 2206 vs 2207: Strap vs Bracelet

Let’s say I have a 19mm lug width, and I’m using a bracelet. The correct spring bar would be the 2206. If I’m using a strap, 2207.

I’ve never done this, so I thought I’d ask: has anyone put a 2206 bar on a strap for 19mm lugs? Or, in a similar way, a 2207 bar on a strap for 20mm lugs. Still secure? A real or just theoretical risk of the strap coming out of the lugs? Thanks.

If it wasn't a real risk Omega wouldn't use different lengths, that being sasid Zenith doesn't differentiate between bracelet and strap, only differentiates between models if both have 19mm lugs for example (A386 vs A3818).

IWC doesn't differentiate either (for the MK XVIII). Breitling does (for the Avenger 2 GMT). In the case of Breitling, it matters. I had the strap spring bars installed on my bracelet and the end links moved around quite a bit (showing a gap between the arc of the case and the arc of the end link).
