Thanks Dirk. One handy thing about the NATO strap at least is the buckle fits perfectly for non-tapered straps like this.
I can't help but feel the speculators and dislikers over the early flippers made this watch go underappreciated for the time being. There's really something special about the brushed finish of the case, and the way natural light gently reflects off it and the silvery subdials that's just impossible to properly capture in photos. Also it's a watch that has to be worn to be appreciated due to this, those instant flippers didn't give chance to see how special this watch is. I suspect it will be held in far higher regard in a few years time when all the mania, delays and flipping has been forgotten and we're just left with a beautiful watch.
Like you I'm still in love with it.
