My photos aren't nearly as good as @mrdata, @Tet, or @red1108nyc but I thought I'd shared some macros...

I had purchased a set of clip on macro lenses for my iphone, then promptly misplaced them during a move over a year ago. I uncovered them the other day and have been playing around, and the ST seemed like a good test subject due to all the interesting little details:

Not bad for hand-held at 10x. 😜
Its amazing that the quality of manufacture can stand up to these macro shots.

I thought I would add this here as well as an example of another bracelet alternative.
Crappy photo, but here is mine on a 1499 bracelet from late 90's
The 1499 has an 18mm clasp and a nice taper. Very sturdy if you can find one.
I will add side/more views later.

I feel the same 🙁
Me too... I'm still kicking myself over this since I had the opportunity to reserve one.

Since it's an Internet-thing - my idea was to pair Fratello with Hodinkee (I remember reading Robert-Jan and Ben are friends)

Well I certainly can't better the quality of your photos Dirk, but here are a few with some different strap options...
